Accessibility statement

This statement covers dashipos.com. We want people who use a keyboard, a screen reader or screen magnification to be able to read the site and use its forms.

The standard we use

We measure the site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA, the level Ontario's Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (O. Reg. 191/11) sets for websites. The site does not meet it everywhere yet.

How we checked

On October 7, 2026 we ran automated testing (axe-core) on ten pages: the home page, Pricing, Demo, Contact, Kitchen Display System, Restaurant Radar, Dashi Reserve, Direct Ordering, the blog index and one blog post. We also tabbed through the main menu with a keyboard.

Automated tools find only part of the problems, and this review did not include testing with a screen reader.

Known problems

• Colour contrast. Some small text is lighter than the 4.5:1 minimum WCAG sets. This affects the gold labels and links on blog pages, the grey step numbers and labels on Direct Ordering, Contact and Dashi Reserve, and the copyright line in the footer.
• Product videos. The short product clips have no sound. They play and repeat while they are on screen, and they have no pause button or text transcript. If your device is set to reduce motion, they do not start by themselves and show video controls instead.
• Cookie settings window. It does not announce itself to screen readers as a dialog.

We update this list as problems are fixed.

What this statement does not cover

The Dashi POS software that restaurants use, and the ordering pages Dashi hosts for restaurants, are separate from this site. We have not assessed them for this statement.
